Endowments from Mahmoud Ali Beddi Pasha allowed the hospital to run gas lines, and in the central hospital upgrade to electric lights. There are specialties here for contagious disease as understood in the time. The upper two floors on the west wing are insane asylums. The middle wing is trauma and surgery. The central hospital has a state of the art hydraulic lift. | ||
