This ritual allows the subject to feel the passage of time. It grants the merit “time sense,” as well as the ability to sense when time is changed.<br>
'''System''': The caster must extract all of the sand from an hourglass without breaking it. He must then mix the sand with the water that passes through a water clock for one minute, and pack the resulting mud into the subject's (closed) eyes, nose, and ears. The subject must then lie for ten minutes, while the caster taps his chest over the heart once per second. (If the caster is also the subject, he must tap himself on the chest once per second for ten minutes). After 600 seconds, the caster rolls Intelligence+Science difficulty 6 (5 for in-clan casters). Each success yields one hour in which the subject is sensitive to temporal changes.

Once the ritual is complete, the subject is free to clean the mud from his orifices. Subjects of this ritual may be affected by Level 1 [[Amplify the Sands]] while ''The Creeping of Ages'' is active.
