			Located in the 11th arrondissement, the Sainte-Marguerite district is the 44th administrative district of Paris. This Parisian triangle extends along the rue de Charonne, the boulevard de Charonne and ends on rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine.

			==History==

			The Sainte-Marguerite district takes its name from the church of Sainte-Marguerite which it houses. The Rue de Charonne, which borders the district, is one of the oldest roads in Paris. It contains a part of the Faubourg Saint-Antoine called “the Faubourg du Meuble”, a Parisian high place of wood and cabinetmaking.

			==Points of Interest==

			The Sainte-Marguerite district is quieter than its neighbours in the 11th arrondissement. Residential and family district, however, it offers some points of interest, especially cultural and architectural.

			:* The Place de la Nation: Formerly "place du Trône" then "place du Trône Reversé", it signs the border between the 11th and the 12th arrondissement of Paris. It takes its former name from the fact that a throne was erected there in 1660 to welcome Louis XIV returning from his marriage from Marie-Thérèse of Austria to Saint John of Luz.
			:* The passage Lhomme: This paved road bathed in vegetation will change you from the animation of the 11th arrondissement. Located at the western end of the Sainte-Marguerite district, this open-air passage is open to the public throughout the day.
