Lucija is a monstrous brute of a woman. She is, after all, a Gargoyle. She stands less than five feet high, and her body is probably larger in diameter. At full extension, her bony grey wings span about 20 feet.

It is unknown how long she has been undead, but rumors (floated by the Prince's supporters) suggest she took part in the original Gargoyle Uprising sometime in the early Renaissance. It is known that she withstood blows that would entorpor most vampires during the "liberation" of Zagreb, and gave better than she got. After a brief skirmish, the chantry guardian, Peregin, retreated to the safety of the chantry, ceding to Lucija the position of alpha gargoyle in Zagreb.

Lucija remains employed by the Prince and Seneschal, acting as Nikolo's bodyguard and occasional gofer. In return, she is accorded more respect in Elysium than almost any other Gargoyle, and allowed a small amount of leeway to flaunt her independence before her former masters. She is loquacious, for a Gargoyle, and has been known to discuss hunting game in the mountains animatedly with anyone who is interested. [[Vidos Zivotin]] has been known to publicly envy her wings.
