Life was far from easy and nothing marked Jacob out but his athletic skill. Had his life gone according to plan, he was supposed to go to college on an athletic scholarship, but then he was drafted into the army. The worst thing about the army at that time was what made surviving Vietnam possible. Every white officer told him he was cut out for being a soldier and Jacob decided right there, that proving them wrong meant everything to him. So he studied harder, worked harder and gave those officers nothing to hang him on and by the time he hit Saigon, they were forced to recognize him as a Green Beret. But in the end, the jungles of Southeast Asia proved those white officers correct, he wasn’t a soldier he was a killer and one of the best that damned war ever produced. He survived three tours in “Nam,” but coming home was a death sentence. It wasn't long before Jacob tangled with the Klan and then the law, a bunch of them died, but in the end they pretty much killed him. It was there at the end of his life and a dangling rope that he first met Xaviar. The Klan took Jacob’s old life and Xaviar gave him a new one. Now Jacob as one of Xaviar's best knights, though some people think he has a tendency to kill a little too quickly.</ins></div></td></tr>
