Level 2 Thaumaturgy based on Spirit Magic

This ritual creates a small straw figurine that can temporarily relieve the effects of a curse (harmful magical effect) on the caster. It is generally taught to apprentices in preparation for more powerful magical defenses.

'''System:''' The caster creates a small (about three inch high) figurine out of straw, corn husks, and a bit of his own hair and spit. While crafting the effigy, the caster recites a chant designed to draw the poisonous magic out of himself and into the figurine. When complete, the magic of the figurine traps it there for a number of hours equal to the successes on the casting minus the difference in level between the figurine of Relief and the curse.
