The Temporal Occulus is a rather large (4' in diameter) magnifying glass that has been enchanted to allow the user to focus perceptually on a window in time.  It has a silver/gold/steel mounting that is inscribed with hundreds of mystical symbols for time and movement.  Attached to the outside is a pearl and silver planchet, whose use can regulate the time viewed.  Highly vulgar, the Occulus is powerful and somewhat chaotic when in use.  As much as [[Gaylor Reynaud]] would like to tell everyone he has a complete understanding of the device, it is rather clear after watching it used that at times it has a mind of it's own (or that someone or something else is controlling it).
