There was a storyteller change at the beginning of this story.  Last scene run by Jamie included himself interogating the newly found and awakened Edward.  He also explain basics of being a vampire extracting a small boon from Edward.

[[Prince Marius Egnatius]] assisted Edward with his first days.  He woke up with a key to a safe deposit box and nothing else.  Over the next week Edward follows Marius in his adminstration of his city.  He goes to the bank where is safe deposit box is to find any items left there for him.  On the way to the bank a large number of Marius's security leave the city, this is done with no communcation or apparent reason.  Marius seems unconcerned and continues to the bank.  Edward learns some of Marius's skills and abilitys in how Marius deals with employee's at the bank.  

On the way back to Marius's home they are involved in a car accident.
