Corporal Hans “Wulfgar” Holgersson * (Sweedish).
Scandinavia may be the most polite, tolerant, well mannered and civilized place on the planet. Wulfgar hated it. He believes that to honor his ancestors and prove himself a man, he must fight fearlessly and never surrender. While he doesn't truly believe in Valhalla, he does relish the chance to get up close and personal with the enemy, and keeps two well-honed hatchets with him most of the time just in case. A series of commanders has assumed that he would be useful until he inevitably died. So far, he has disappointed them.
Recently, Wulfgar has decided that he has lived up to the example set by his ancestors, and has stopped looking for opportunities to wade into melee. He's gone toe-to-toe with vozhd and cannon fodder, and somehow survived - though only by the dint of the vitae in his system.
