PROGENITOR
Explanation
The Progenitor birthright literally represents the god or goddess that gave divine birth to the Avatar. Because the Avatar character is descended from a specific Progenitor, the power of that god can be channeled through the divine descendant to achieve a specific end. However there are three caveats to this birthright. First of all, the Avatar character must know the identity of their divine Progenitor and claim that entity as father or mother (or some equivalent). Secondly, the Avatar character must invoke his or her Progenitor's name and in so doing at least theoretically drawing that entity's attention. Lastly, the channeling of a Progenitor's power cannot occur more than once per story. The Avatar character's player rolls PROGENITOR (difficulty 8) to access their character's ancestral power, should the player offer up a suitable sacrifice to the Avatar character's progenitor, then the difficulty of the roll drops to six (6).
