Gifts of Sleep: With a gesture and a few words or a lullaby, an Avatar can put any single individual to sleep. This innate ability works instantaneously on most mortals, even in the midst of combat. This power can be used even on other supernatural creatures, but should they have some pressing reason to remain awake, then they may resist, even gods are not immune. Those given the gift of sleep by an Avatar will sleep variable amounts, but will regardless of time spent sleeping, awaken refreshed and alert. They may be awakened by shaking, violence or very loud noises, otherwise they sleep peacefully. You can also see into any sleeper's dreams by watching them while they sleep.
