A Covenant is the term used by the Order of Hermes for its chantries up until the Order joined with the Traditions. The term originated in the Ars Magica game, and was eventually adopted into the history of Mage: The Ascension. Prominent Covenants of the Dark Medieval and the Mythic Age include Doissetep and Mistridge.
