Dietrich Kohl
Sobriquet: Merchant of Death
Appearance: Dietrich has the stunning good looks and chiselled features of a Norse Bond villain, and the fashion sense of an Armani model. He clearly has a taste for the fine life, sporting an assortment of the most expensive men's jewellery on the planet. He is never seen without at least two of his recently embraced muscle, and half a dozen bodyguards in the room. His gatherings are protected by between 20 to 50 of his security guards, mostly on their best behavior. It is almost certain that their leaders are ghouls.
Behavior: In social situations, he drops minor hints and easily found secrets, as if bestowing great favor on a trusted confidant.
History: He is one of the foremost arms smugglers in the world, and uses his products to equip small mercenary armies for hire. Thus far, he has not provided forces to both sides of a conflict, but he has supplied the arms that killed them. His troops are known for their skill and lack of discipline; Disciplinary washouts from regular militaries around the world are likely to find his card among their affects when they find themselves alone on the street.
Recent Events: Dietrich is most recently known to have been ensconced in Thessloniki, assisting the city's elders in return for a safe haven from which to deal his toys. There he met with Bruno Kunic (Blake, and Madame Mina, providing a small cache of arms to them for a deal he cared almost nothing about.
In Another Life: Dietrich Kohl was persuaded to move to Cairo to take the position of Counsellor of Banu Al'Azraq when the Setite Dream Court conquered the city in the 2190's. Rumors that he had never before visited his grandsire's homeland seem unlikely given the number of armed and criminal organizations that speckle Egypt's history. He died in a blazing green fireball in the full view of his retainers, in his heavily fortified haven beneath the Heliolopolis airport.
