History: Eliza was born the first daughter of Philander and Beatrix in 1942. She is smart and a independent thinker. She was a difficult child for her parent to raise, as she was a tomboy and quite precocious. She broke family tradition when she became the first woman in the Hall Family to go to college against her parents wishes. She graduated with a degree in education and became involved in the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s where she met and fell in love with Cash Williamson. Their racially mixed relationship became a family scandal at the time, but was short lived when Cash was killed during the 1968 Chicago Riots. Shattered by his death, she has remained a single widow for the last thirty-five years. She has taught English for almost forty years and now holds a doctorate in the subject; for the last twenty years she has taught at the University of Chicago.
Residence: She has long resided in the mixed middle class neighborhood of Hyde Park, Chicago.
