Sobriquet: Les
Appearance: A slender man wearing a leather bomber jacket and fedora. He favors loose, tan long sleeve shirts. His brown hair is pulled back in a short ponytail.
Behavior: Les is a card shark. He is at heart a reckless gambler who doesn't like being pushed around. Les is inclined to run if the odds go against him though.
History: Les was born in 1941, to a mother whose husband had just joined the military and went to war. Les had never met his father until 1946 when dear old Dad wandered home. His father was a card sharp whose charisma was epic. Smooth and friendly, he was never the less a wandering philanderer who was surprised that she still thought they were married. Les only saw his Dad every couple of years, until his Mom died in 1958. Les then wound up living with Dad and learning the life of a gambler. At the age of 20, he was a smooth card player like his old man. In 1963 he met Leslie Booth in a club in Denver, and she was never able to look away from him. As they say, the rest is history.
He loved her as much as he loved anyone, but after 30 years he was only coming around like his old man had. In 1997 he sat down to a card game with some Mexican gangsters. Unfortunately for him, they caught him cheating and chained him to a wall and beat him bloody. In frenzy he broke free and killed them all, stumbling into the street where he killed again. This time he came out of frenzy and felt bad for the person he had drug down with himself. In a fit of remorse he embraced Simon le Gris. The two fled Denver to keep Edward from finding out about the embrace to New Orleans.
