Glabro: The Near-Man

Introduction
Glabro is the near-man or "wolfman" form of the Garou. In the Glabro form, a werewolf can somewhat pass for human while still drawing on a portion of their feral power.
Description
In this bestial throwback form, the werewolf looks like an unusually tall, feral, muscular person. A Glabro werewolf can speak, but not well. Even soft words sound guttural and harsh. They become stronger, faster and more resilient than Homid, but the Glabro form is still just a shadow of the werewolf’s true killing power.
A Garou shifting into Glabro essentially doubles (or perhaps triples) their human form's body weight and adds between six inches to a foot onto their normal height. Clothes strain and tear, but do not shred... yet. The Garou's teeth and nails thicken and sharpen, and while they’re not especially powerful, they add to the werewolf’s intimidating presence. Hair grows; brows slope; the werewolf’s posture hunches with predatory intent.

Attribute Changes: Strength +2, Stamina +2, Appearance -1, Manipulation -1
Shift Difficulty: Stamina + Primal Urge = 7
Appearance: The Glabro is a large, muscled, hairer version of the Homid form. The character gains about six inches in height and a proportionate about of weight (around 30%). The teeth, nails and hair of the Glabro are longer than an ordinary human's, and the teeth and nails are sharper. A werewolf in Glabro form won't be mistaken for a human close up in daylight, but he can likely pass at night from a distance.
Game Effects: The Glabro's teeth inflict only lethal damage, not aggravated, and its claws cause no damage at all.
Notes: Garou who need the strength of a war-form without inducing the Delirium in nearby humans frequently use the Glabro form. The Glabro can speak the Garou tongue without difficulty, but human language is more difficult. While the character can be heard and understood, his voice become very low and guttural.
