Vampire of Highgate
The Vampire of London was a complete cockup by the Sabbat in the 1970's in an attempt to discredit Camarilla rule. What the Sabbat didn't take into account was the Liverpool Boys who came to hunt them. Normally humans wouldn't be such a problem, but the boys were well set up and ready to fight vampires. They were careful, and took their time in tracking the Sabbat pack back to their hole. Over a period of the next year the Liverpool boys took the members of Free London out completely.
In the meantime there was a media sensation, and lots of punters worked at making money off of the scenario. The Queens Men were also involved, and accounted for the leaders of Free London. Lady Ann was furious at the attention, and has left several Caitiff out in the sun to make a point of never showing off in Highgate again.
