Eteodes Makaris
Eteodes Makaris took the princedom of Thessaloniki with the help of his allies, Georg Demis and Elektra Iremais in a struggle that drew out through the early 18th century. The trio gained the acquiescence of the Camarilla to their stewardship, and has remained in the good graces of the Justicars and the inner council despite occasionally dark rumors. The city has a reputation for being a reasonable place for transients and a dangerous place to try to settle into. Eteocles' political acumen and willingness to deal has kept Thessaloniki out of the struggles that sweep across the Balkans and through Greece.
In 2015, the Brujah Justicar Don Cruez announced that the clan was officially in rebellion to the Camarilla. Rather than fight a constant political battle with the newly reduced Inner Council, Eteodes abdicated the throne in favor of his long-time companion George Demis of clan Torreador. Still, it is clear that if he is not still prince, Eteodes functions as an extremely active seneschal.
