Cellach MacTaggart
Appearance: Cellach MacTaggart looks every inch the Scottish footsoldier: He is a giant of a man with a mane of red hair usually pulled back with a badly strained ribbon, and a fiercely tangled red beard. He wears his family tartan whenever possible, and in Scotland he is never challenged for wearing a great-kilt. He even has his permits that state that he is a Druid, and the Claymore he customarily wears across his back is his religious talisman, and therefore legal (at least in most public locations).
Description: Cellach is quick to laughter, and almost as quick to anger: As Glasgow's Sheriff, he is more the bully than the Sheriffs of most major cities, but few are willing to challenge him directly. He is generally unpopular with members of more effete clans, particularly the Tremere, who are quick to point out to newcomers that Sheriff MacTaggart is a pretender, no where near old enough to have earned the tartan and the sword. Still these tensions have remained social. When annoyed, Cellach piles on a Scottish accent enough to shatter glass, which even most Scots have trouble understanding.
Influence: As Sheriff, Cellach has cultivated good relations with many police officers. Additionally, he is well liked in taverns and among laborers around Glasgow. He is known to employ retired police, soldiers and dockworkers with equal effectiveness.
