Bones of Demeter
Description: Through the invocation of the powers of the Underworld, the caster may soften bones to the consistency of wet clay, allowing it to be molded or sculpted into a variety of shapes. In the hands of a skilled artisan, bone can be transformed into works of art, toys or even weapons.
Origin: Benesj the Black
Ingredients: Amniotic Fluid / Bones / Earthenware Jar / Graveyard
Casting: Before the ritual can begin, the bones must be placed in an earthenware jar with an equal amount of amniotic fluid, then the jar must be sealed with human tallow and buried in a the soil of a mother's grave. Each night, the caster stands over the buried jar and makes an invocation to the powers of the Underworld (they may be his ancestors, the gods of his land or even the demons of the dead) to aid him in the act of softening the bones; then he must walk counterclockwise around the burial site chanting observances about the return of the bones to the womb.
System: The ritual takes five minutes to cast and must be cast on three successive nights. Successes equal the number of pounds of bone that can be softened and the bone remains malleable until sunrise.
