History

In the late 11th century, Baron Stephen of Lincolnshire was among the youngest of Avalon's Barons. He fell easily under the sway of Baron John of York, and through him of the Toreador of Edinborough. Much of the overt fighting took place with Lincoln, and the area never really recovered. Through the Middle Ages and Rennaisance, Lincoln remained a hotbed of rebellion, giving rise and shelter to such notable revolutionaries as Robin Leland.

After the death of Stephen, the region hosted a series of ineffectual Barons and Princes before the Nosferatu Citrine Greene drove the Anarchs out and undesirables. From the population center of Nottingham, Barroness Citrine rules Lincolnshire with an iron claw, her enemies never knowing where she might be next.
