Wyld Fae
Wyldfae, sometimes also referred to the Courtless, are those fae who choose to go their own path and don't join any of the traditional courts. They don't get involved in the politics of any of the Courts and while they may be found in small numbers among either the Seelie or Unseelie, for the most part they go their own ways.
Outsiders in a dangerous world, they are sometimes said to belong to the Courtless Court.
Overview
Wyldfae are seen as having a neutral and common ground between the courts and they are also seen as some of the most dangerous. Living a life as a Wyldfae can be simple and good in some aspects, but the lack of a support network larger than their motley of friends can be difficult, and social interaction with others is not as available. Even so, Wyldfae can find means of interaction with others and can often be an intermediary for many purposes of Fae and other species. Wyldfae are usually unpredictable and have been seen as the outcasts (either banished, choosing to leave, or not choosing at all), and the "wild wee ones". Reasons vary as to why a fae wouldn't join a court, but there are not many that regret their decision of being "courtless".
The Wyldfae are not, in general, a political faction. They're defined by a desire to remain free of the Great Courts, but that doesn't imply an organized goal of promoting the interests of fae outside the Courts. But in some areas, the Wyldfae rally. They may be a group of individually motivated Lost held together by a single charismatic leader who insists on giving them a voice in the freehold. They may conduct themselves as a union, openly recruiting other changelings to a life free of Court meddling. The effectiveness of these gatherings varies widely, but in some places a Courtless leader holds political influence and ability as great as any Court noble. Even if a Courtless leader cannot sit upon one of the court's throne, he can hold power behind it.
