Arcane Assayer
An assayer is a qualified professional, often a chemist or metallurgist, who analyzes, tests, and determines the purity, composition, and value of metals, ores, and alloys. They are crucial in mining, jewelry, and banking industries to verify the quality of materials like gold, silver, or platinum. In this case the Kaisyd is able to test and measure the properties of an item, to assertain it's value and use.
System: The Arcane Assayer must be able to touch and examine the item in question. The examination takes at least a turn. After spending time looking at and probing the item the Kaisyd can roll Perception + Occult difficulty 8 to ascertain the abilities of the item. Each success reveals a facet or use of the item, at the Storytellers discretion what is revealed.
