Liborio tries to stop the inevitable, but fails and abandons the flophouse when Nanette surrenders completely to the Beast. The ancilla animal quickly disables his feral adopted childe and deposits her bound corpse in a little used warehouse filled with a seemingly endless collection of garden-gnomes. They arrive during a colorful Chinese festival and are confronted by the Kuei-jin bodyguard to Cho, an eastern vampire called Goru. After discussing the possibility of a pickup game with Brie who wasn't up to running, Bruce ran a one night game that concerned the player-character's backgrounds and further repercussions of the Necro-Drug story told by Brie a couple weeks earlier.
