You can see just fine at night and you've never understood why people have so much difficulty see3ing just because it's a little dark. You suffer no penalty to dice pools as long as you have at least light equivalent to moderate starlight. when going from brightly lit conditions to low-light conditions, it make a turn or two for your eyes to adapt.
