  • 2020:American dollar collapses, leading to a consortium take over of the United States by the United Nations to protect world markets. UN begins implementing UN initiatives and supplanting the US constitution. President Warren is re-elected.
  • 2021: May 18, Atlanta Freedom Marches - the United States Military cracks downs on peaceful demonstrators, resulting in fighting. 62 demonstrators are injured, national guard troops use water hoses and tear gas to break up the crowds.
    July 1: Muslims in Michigan hold a rally for Sharia Law recognition. The Aryan Dawn detonates a bomb killing 2, wounding 40. For 3 days the two groups use Milwaukee for a battle ground exchanging gun fire. Camarilla vampires and Garou have a semi-open war in Milwaukee, there are many breaches of the masquerade.
    July 4: The President calls for calm and offers peace talks. Leaders from both groups attend, but no resolution to the issues. The Gangrel Archon comes to the city to broker a peace deal, but is assassinated by the Phoenix Society before peace can be achieved. Only when kinfolk children are held by vampires can the Garou be convinced to talk. A shaky peace is restored.
    UN and American military begin concerted attempt to disarm American citizens.
    UN troops move into the Dallas Fort Worth area at first with assistance from the US military at 5 PM August 5th. Shots are fired at the West End light rail station two blocks from the Texas Book Depository building killing 5 American citizens, and wounding 8 others. UN Troops storm a building resulting in an explosion,setting fire to the building and killing 20 more. US troops stationed in the area mutiny, arresting the UN troops and holding them for trial after being ordered to stand down.
    September 12, The Texas Rangers move UN troops to hold for trial after being formally charged with the killing of American civilians. When federal agents come to take them back to Washington DC Texas National Guard troops turn the Federal agents around, loading them back on planes after a 48 hour stand off.
    October 3, Texas Governor McCandless informs the US government of procedures in the Texas legislature to secede from the Union. National Guard troops form a cordon around military bases, cutting them off from all land contact.
    October 30, The US government declares a state of national martial law as unrest flares up across the western states. Texas declares independence and succession from the US. It is quickly followed by Arizona, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, and Utah. Federal troops flood into Kansas and Colorado, Wyoming.
  • 2022: January 8, Major earthquake hits Arkansas, 8.7 on Richter scale.
    The Tremere decide that the Camarilla cannot protect its interests and separates from the Camarilla.
    January 10, Militias in Colorado and Kansas work in concert with troops out of Texas and New Mexico to trap Federal troops and disarm them. Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Oregon, and Washington succeed.
    March, Missouri and Arkansas waver, UN Troops supported by the Federal troops begin an influx into St.Louis and Little Rock.
    May 3, The Dakotas declare themselves one District. Michigan and Iowa succeed, joining the western states in rebellion. The Western Alliance bombs the bridges on the Mississippi in a unified strike. The bridge at Memphis becomes the only bridge left standing on the whole Mississippi.
    June 4, Western Alliance War of Independence is officially declared by the first Western Congress in Cheyenne Mountain.
    June 10, Southern Manitoba and Saskatchewan are dragged into the war, as UN troops and United States troops are moved along the northern border.

    The Western Alliance makes a solid run into Tennessee, and north into Mississippi. The Texan forces push Federated troops out of Louisiana. Mexico aids the Western Alliance to break the Federation blockade at New Orleans.
    Mexico aligns itself with Texas and the Western Alliance in a bid to keep the oil pipelines north open.
  • 2026: The Battle of Wichita happens, with a decisive defeat of the Federated States by the Western Alliance. There are many scattered battles around the West.
  • 2027: Treaty of New Orleans - The treaty is signed in New Orleans which is designated a neutral zone between the two new nations and the Mississippi River serves as a designated border between the Federated American States and the Western Alliance. The war ends.
    The Republic of Texas withdraws from the Western Alliance to declare Independence. Texas establishes a cordon of Non-Aggression with the Federated States and the Western Alliance.
