Mortal Luitgard Brun.jpg

Sobriquet: Ina -- Formerly: Luitgard Brun

Appearance: Katharina's is everything an Aryan supremacist could want, with ice blue eyes and pale blond hair. She stands 1.67 meters tall and weighs 54 kilos, with a athletic figure and light tan. She has a handful of scars from childhood and her more flagrant explorations of the criminal underworld. Ina clearly takes good care of herself and appears to be in her middle twenties when in reality she is over thirty years old. She is equally comfortable in polizei camouflage fatigues and body armor as she is in a little black mini-dress and high-heels. She doesn't bother with perfume, but smells of herbal soaps and fragrant shampoos.

Behavior: Katharina's beautiful face still holds a great deal of youthful beauty and she has an air of innocence that belies the calculated cunning with which she completes assignments and eliminates rivals. Despite these traits, she is capable of being both empathetic and feminine when it serves her purposes. It is the combination of these traits that has allowed her to move up in the neo-Nazi ranks and makes her the only option for group leader of the Nazi time travelers. She knows exactly how to motivate her group members and limit their infighting. And while she is a quick study of human behavior, classifying personalities and manipulating situations, sometimes she over reaches herself when going up against older, more complex individuals who aren't so easily swayed by her various emotional strategies.

History: All her life Katharina had looked up to her older brother Johannes, an honorable man who took the welfare of others as his personal responsibility. It came as no surprise to anyone in the family when following secondary school he joined the polizei. His first posting was as a member of the Schutzpolizei, a beat-cop, it was a duty he relished. But when he accidentally interfered in the affairs of the Arab mafia, they had him killed without a second thought. Katharina, in her second year of University, took his death particularly hard. She was a diligent student who excelled in academia and sports. When it became apparent that the Landespolizei couldn't or wouldn't pursue the case against the criminal family, Katharina took it upon herself to pursue justice for her dead brother. Turning her spare time towards finding Johannes killers, she used the universities' resources to discretely investigate the Arab cartel.

When Luitgard delivered key information in an ongoing federal investigation to the local polizei, she inadvertantly damaged a case against the cartel by the Kripo, the investigative branch of the Landespolizei. Being the sister of a murdered policeman, she was let off with a harsh warning not to interfere again, but Luitgard was enraged that her brother's murderers were set free in the hope of catching bigger fish, as it were. Despite this, a local organization had noticed her good work and approached her sympathetically offering her their assistance in her vendetta, a skinhead gang. Given the polizei's indifference, Luitgard accepted their help and began a much more comprehensive investigation into the Arab criminal family.

She hit the streets, dressed as a prostitute in order to interview the cartel's working girls and identify their street level pimps and enforcers. With her intelligence, the skin-head gang took the streets and cleaned up their neighborhood. Luitgard was invited to observed an "interrogation" of a Arab enforcer who broke under torture providing the names of her brother's killers. The group's leader seduced Luitgard by offering her the lives of her brother's killers in return for her alliance to the 'cause'. But she was required to finish her university work and become a member of the Kripo in return. Luitgard accepted the deal and became a neo-nazi sympathizer and source of federal intelligence on similar foreign groups. When the skinheads came through with her brother's killers, they put a gun in her hands and the rest is history.

Since that time she has gone from a Nazi sympathizer to a dedicated member of the Fourth Reich. As a mole inside the Kripo she has key data and intelligence to hand out to her allies and as a agent of the Kripo she has been in an ideal position to weaken or destroy cases against the various allies of the Fourth Reich. Within the last couple years, she has been assigned to work as a consultant in modern security counter-measures to protect the Fourth Reich's most valuable projects and bases. She has worked her way up the ladder of neo-nazis to a position of moderate authority. Having graduated with distinction in her field of criminal investigations and specializing in counter-intelligence, surveillance and encryption, she was shortlisted by the Reich for a position of authority befitting her ambition and loyalty to the cause. Unknown even to her, she was among the final candidates selected for the Embrace by the Red Skull when the temporal disaster struck.

As a willing agent of the Fourth Reich with ambitions to rise within its ranks, Luitgard has undertaken a systematic study of Nazi doctrine and history. Despite this, her memory for historical facts is far from perfect or complete. She saw these studies as a means of easing her movement within the complex and sometimes convoluted structure of the Fourth Reich, not as a necessary blueprint to navigate Nazi Germany of 1933. Now stranded in the opening days of the Third Reich's rise to power, she scrambled to find purchase in a difficult new reality. Thinking that she and her team could just impersonate membership in the Brownshirts, which their Fourth Reich uniforms resemble, the Nazi time travelers tried to blend in at the Dancing Bear cabaret and ended up the unwilling 'guests' of Göring's brand new Gestapo at number 8 Prinz-Albrecht-Straße. While the Gestapo interrogates their 21st century counterparts, Luitgard is slowly seducing Göring himself. If her plan works, the Gestapo chief will open doors for her and her team, allowing them to correct tactical and strategic errors in the Third Reich's master plan which will likely lead to the glory of a truly thousand year Reich.
